Despite the short lines, I still had a LONG wait...

Here is Alessondra helping me to vote. The wait was not too long, however it was close to nap time so she did become a little cranky, and was not looking too happy in one of these pics.
Speaking of cranky, let me tell you what I did AFTER we voted!
We rushed to the car. I was trying to quickly get home so Alessondra could take a nap and I could get to my 2:00pm dentist appointment (that they squeezed me into)! Alessondra's shoe fell off, the wind blew her "I voted" sticker away, and my hands were full. I opened the front passenger door to get rid of everything in my hands.
Just as I sat my purse, phone, her shoe and my keys in the seat, swung the door closed, getting ready to pick her up and all at the same moment she hit the lock, just as the door shut!
OH NO SHE DIDN'T! She locked my keys, my phone and her shoe in the car. OK, you think "Just call your husband and have him bring you his key" Well not a bad plan...except , I took Jeff's key to my car a couple of months ago. Mine broke and I was too frugal (cheap) to go get another one. So here I am in the parking lot of this PACKED church, cranky daughter with ONE shoe on, no phone and no keys and a dentist appt . Luckily I had seen a friend of mine (Thanks Brooke) in line to vote. So I had to make that dreaded phone call to my already stressed out husband, in the middle of the work day! Where is AAA when I need them? Oh yeah I am too cheap for that too. So where is the police officer with the slim jim when I need him. Actually he too was in line to vote, however that is a negative. They do not perform that task any longer, darn it!

So Jeff meets me. I take him and Alessondra home. I then drive (speed) to the dentist and beg them to still see me even though I am unable to pay due to no purse equals no form of payment.

My prince is here to save the day! While I was being gassed up, numbed up and drilled on, my husband scoured the yellow pages, compared prices and found a locksmith for $40!! WOW that is cheap, relatively speaking! He had to shut "Jeff Click Homes" down to accomplish this. His office manager, came to the house to sit while Alessondra napped, his project manger drove him to the church and Jeff waited in line to vote. All so he could retrieve my keys.

I am so lucky!
